University of Ghana Medical School welcomes two new Assistant Registrars

The University of Ghana Medical School welcomed two new assistant registrars on 1st November 2021.

Mr. Ishmael Ato Essien, a senior assistant registrar formerly of Accra City Campus replaces Miss Susie Lamptey as the new School Administrator. He is supported by Mr. Ralph Asubonteng, a newly appointed assistant registrar. Their profiles are as shown below.

The school warmly welcomes the two on board and looks forward to working with them to move it into the next 10 years running up to 70 years. The school also appreciates Miss  Lamptey for the almost 8 years of dedicated service. Ayekoo Susie.

Mr. Ishmael Ato Essien joined the University of Ghana in 2013 as Assistant Registrar. He served at the Accra City Campus from April 2013 to October 2021 as School Administrator and Academic Officer. He was promoted to Senior Assistant Registrar in June 2020. He holds a BA in (French, Economics), Msc in Business Administration and a chartered Accountant (ACCA, CA).

 

Mr. Ralph Asubonteng joined the University in 2005 as Administrative Assistant. After working in several units (HRODD, IPRO, Legon Hall) he was made an Assistant  Registrar in September 2021. Ralph holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Health Services Management and Administration and a Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA), Political Science with Information Studies from University of Ghana. He is a past student of Prempeh College
